We ship internationally - by FedEx International. All customers are responsible for customs and or duty charges on goods entering their country.


2. What if I am not happy with my purchase?

Internet purchases:
If you are not happy with your purchase from www.colombianemeralds.com you may return your purchase within 30 days, in pristine condition and packaging to receive a full refund less the original shipping fee.

Store Purchases:
All watches sold by Colombian Emeralds International and www.colombianemeralds.com are covered by the manufacturers International Warranties and therefore are not returnable. In the event of service needs, please refer to the manufacturers Authorized Service Center. You must contact a customer service representative for a return authorization code by calling Toll Free 1.800.6.NO.DUTY (1.800.666.3889) or you may email us at customerservice@colombianemeralds.com



3. When will I receive my appraisal and sales receipt?
Although all appraisals may be viewed online, your certified, original
appraisal and sales receipt will be shipped and enclosed with your order.


 
4. How will my purchase be shipped?

For orders under $100.00 in the continental U.S. you may select either FedEx Ground or FedEx 2-Day delivery. By special request we can offer Priority or Standard Overnight delivery. The cost of shipping also includes insurance for your item in transit.



5. How long will it take to receive my package?

Approximately 7-10 days, however delivery dates may vary upon item availability.

What credit cards do you accept? Are checks/wire transfers acceptable?
We accept our dutyfree.com Gold Advantage Card, (see on-line application), Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Money orders, wire transfers and cashiers checks are also accepted. All checks should be in U.S. funds drawn out of a U.S. bank.

Items shipped both internationally and in the U.S.A. by FedEx will require a signature upon arrival. Please note that Colombian Emeralds International will not be held responsible for the delivery of your item if you have a "Release of Signature" card on file with Federal Express.

The photographs show jewellery 'larger than life' to show beauty and detail, and smaller in "thumbnail" presentation. Every effort has been made to ensure that all information provided is correct.

13. Do you sell lab created precious stones?

Colombian Emeralds International only sells nature's gemstones.

Over centuries man has found ways of unlocking the natural beauty of nature's gemstones. Almost every gemstone has been subjected to proven processes to better present its beauty and to protect and prepare it during cutting and for long term wear.

Genuine Colombian Emeralds are commonly oiled with natural cedar wood oil in their country of origin. The Gemological Institute of America recognizes that this process is traditional to the emerald gemstone industry. More recently other colorless resins have been used.

Mystic Topaz has recently become available. This is a genuine stone where a fun new way of enhancing a traditional favorite has been adopted. Exotic colors are created such as Caribbean Blue and Mystic Purple by a novel surface treatment to the natural quartz. This results in beautiful iridescent colors. Mystic Topaz if treated with care will last a lifetime.
